Musical Theatre
Ages 6 - 9 OR 10 - 13 | June 1 - 5 | 9 AM - 3 PM | $305
Let your budding Broadway baby shine this summer in our Wicked inspired musical theatre camp! Your performer will be so “Popular” as they “Dance Through Life” at SOPA, enjoying songs, dance, acting, crafts and much more! The afternoon will be full of fun and creative activities such as Glinda’s Glam School of Fashion & Design & Shiz Cosmetology Academy. Snacks will be provided, but students will need to bring a labeled water bottle and lunch. Family and friends can watch their performer “Defy Gravity” in an entertaining show on the final day of camp!

Galactic Acting Academy

We have received an urgent message from Yoda that all Jedi are to meet at Steppin’ Out this summer to join the Galactic Acting Academy! We will convene together to practice our light saber skills, create galactic crafts & lego inventions, eat snacks and most importantly work together to fight the dark side. Snacks will be provided but each Jedi will need to bring a labeled water bottle and lunch. The force will be with everyone on the last day of camp when our actors perform their stellar showcase for families!

Camp Six String
Guitar
Ages 8 - 12 | June 1 - 5 | 9 AM - 1:00 PM | $205

This week-long guitar camp is designed for students ages 8-12 at all skill levels. Throughout the week, students will learn arrangements of familiar, fun songs while building technique, reviewing music fundamentals, practicing how to play cohesively with other musicians, and will also have the opportunity to participate in masterclasses led by local guitarists. Students are welcome to bring their own guitar, or one will be provided for use during the camp. The week will conclude with a group performance to share what they've learned with family and friends.

Sew Cool Camp
Sewing
Ages 7 - 13 | June 8 - 12 | 1 PM - 3 PM | $155
This is a great beginners sewing camp for kids who are curious about creating, designing, and learning hands-on skills! Campers will learn the basics of sewing in a fun, supportive environment while building confidence and creativity. Sewing students will learn: sewing safety and proper tool use, basic hand-sewing stitches, how to use a sewing machine, how to read and follow simple patterns, measuring, cutting, and pinning fabric and so much more. Patterns and practice materials will be provided but students will need to provide their own fabric for their final project.
Level Up: Super Mario Camp
Hip-hop/Tumble/Legos/STEAM
Ages 6 - 11 | June 15 - 20 | 9 AM - 1:00 PM | $205
Extended Day Option* (9am-3pm $305)
Game on this summer with Mario, Luigu and their Mushroom Kingdom! Campers will warp zone ahead into hip-hop and acro technique, put their creativity to the test with Super Mario inspired crafts, have loads of lego time and much more! Snacks will be provided but each camper will need to bring a labeled water bottle and lunch. There will be a focus on hip-hop basics, tumbling and choreography each day. Families won’t want to miss an inspiring performance on the last day of camp. Campers will be Level-up Legends at SOPA this summer!

KPOP Academy
Jazz/Hip-Hop/Acro

Let’s cue the music and begin the battle for a high energy week of all things dance with Rumi, Mira, and Zoey. Dancers will enjoy daily classes in dance and tumble, bring to life K-Pop inspired crafts and enjoy games and loads of fun with their friends. Snacks will be provided but campers will need to bring a labeled water bottle and a lunch. Families can get ready for glitter, grit and glory on the last day of camp with an exciting showcase that’s sure to be “Golden.”

Upside Down Drama Camp

Let’s go to Hawkins this summer for a Stranger Things/Dungeons & Dragons inspired camp! It will be an unforgettable experience where young actors can immerse themselves in the mystery and fantasy of the Upside Down, unleash their creativity, and explore the art of storytelling through inspiration from the beloved characters and stories from the series and game. Actors will collaborate with each other to create their own script and story, work on character development by creating their own characters, make their own props, and much more! Snacks will be provided but each camper will need to bring a labeled water bottle and lunch. Adventure awaits on the final day of camp where bravery and friendship take the stage for a mini showcase for parents.

American Girl Dreams
Dance/Crafts
Ages 6 - 10 | June 29 - July 3 | 9 AM - 3 PM | $305
Bring your favorite doll to camp this summer for a sweet, empowering, friendship-focused experience! All dancers and their dolls will take daily classes in dance, crafts-including a sewing component, and all sorts of art projects! Each day will include a focus on a different American Girl Doll, their time period, history and more. Students will finish the week with crafts for both themselves and their dolls. Snacks will be provided but each camper will need to bring a labeled water bottle and lunch. Families will enjoy a small performance on the last day of camp.
Spotlight: Turn It Up
Musical Theatre
Ages 11 - 16 | June 29 - July 3 | 1 PM - 3 PM | $155
Let’s turn it up this summer with a musical theatre opportunity for our older students to expand their musical theatre repertoire and Broadway show knowledge. Students will be immersed in a fast paced camp where they will discover and explore new & challenging shows and learn music and choreography from them. Curriculum will include shows like Beetlejuice, Heathers, Something Rotten, & Juliet, Hairspray and so much more! Campers will end the week with a greater love for telling the story of so many great Broadway musicals. Parents will enjoy a mini showcase on the last day!

Tech Titans
Backstage Tech Theatre
Ages 8 - 14 | July 6 - 10 | 1 PM - 3 PM | $155
Join us for a fascinating week learning all about backstage technical theatre arts. Campers will focus on prop & set design, stage management and all that goes on behind the scenes! Each student will have the opportunity to work on building and painting props and set pieces for our production of Annie allowing for a true hands on experience. There will also be a design component of camp where each student will create and present their own design project. Parents will have the opportunity to watch these presentations on the last day of camp. Students should wear closed-toed shoes and clothes they don't mind getting messy.
Minecraft Magic
Hip-Hop/Acro/Legos

Every block tells a story at Minecraft Magic camp this summer at SOPA. It will be teamwork mode as campers take daily classes in hip-hop and acro, design minecraft inspired crafts and enjoy lego building time and so much more. Snacks will be provided but each camper will need to bring a labeled water bottle and lunch. Campers will build their world and share the adventure with a final performance on the last day of camp. It will be a week of pixels and possibilities!

Joyful Voices
Choir

This week-long choir camp is open to rising 4th-8th graders of all experience levels. This camp offers students the opportunity to sing in a group setting while developing vocal and musicianship skills. Throughout the week, singers will learn fun choral repertoire, practice healthy singing habits, and work together toward a final performance to share with family and friends.

Full Show Camps

Arabian Musical
Rising 4th - 12th | June 8 - 20 | 9 AM - 3 PM | $575
Join us for a “High Adventure” this summer when SOPA takes the stage with Disney’s Aladdin JR! Your performer will love to be a part of our full show production and grow their triple threat skills. The show, based on the 1992 Academy Award®-winning film and the 2014 hit Broadway show, includes great songs from both versions. The story follows the “street rat”, Aladdin, as he learns about love, greed, friendship and more! Everyone who joins this camp is in the production!! Come explore “A Whole New World” with us this summer!

Auditions will be held in advance of the camp (May 27, 2026) and all participants will be in the show. All campers will be required to have a specific base costume and jazz shoes (color tbd) before rehearsals start. A non-refundable $275 deposit can be paid now to hold your spot and the final payment will be due the first of June. Performances of this 1-hour show will be at the Wadsworth Auditorium on Friday, June 19 & Saturday, June 20. All camp participants will receive a show t-shirt included in the price.

The Red Headed Orphan Musical
Rising K - 6th | July 6 - 17 | 9 AM - 12 PM | $375
Everyone’s favorite red head is coming to SOPA this summer! Join little orphan Annie and her friends as they search for her parents in 1930s NYC. With a cast of fun characters, Daddy Warbucks, Miss Hannigan, Sandy the dog, and more, your camper is sure to have a great time learning all about theatre and performing. This will be a full-scale musical theatre show with costumes and set! Campers will be cast in the show and auditions will be held before camp starts (Audition date TBA). All campers will be required to have a specific base costume and jazz shoes before rehearsals start. Performances of this 30 min show will be at the Wadsworth on Fri, July 17, in the afternoon/evening. A non-refundable $225 deposit can be paid now to hold your spot and the final payment will be due by June 22. All camp participants will receive a show t-shirt included in the price.
*Please note the Friday, July 17 camp rehearsal will be in the afternoon - not the morning - to allow our students extra rest time before the performance.
