SOPA is in downtown Newnan, Georgia, and offers acro, acting, ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, leaps and turns, musical theatre, private lessons, tap, and art for children and adults.
We are proud to offer Music Together® classes in Newnan.

Our Mission
Steppin’ Out Performing Arts is an all-encompassing studio focused on performing and fine arts. Our mission is to train and nurture our students, build confidence, teach life skills, and develop lasting relationships in a safe and loving environment.

We offer a variety of classes for children and adults. We are a performance-based studio offering community, travel, and audition-based performance opportunities. Our classes utilize a creative and solid curriculum incorporating story or theme-based performances.
We love to support and be involved in our community as much as possible. Our hope and prayer are for students to leave SOPA with a lifelong passion and appreciation for the arts.

The vision at Steppin’ Out Performing Arts GA is to provide performing arts classes in Newnan, Georgia and the surrounding communities by providing a space for students to learn with joy, creativity, and fun while encouraging them to push themselves inside a comfortable and safe environment.

About Our Directors
Cassie Jackson and Lindsey Archer are the co-owners of Steppin’ Out Performing Arts, GA. SOPA is home to more than 250 amazing students and is now celebrating their 5th Season in Newnan!

Cassie and Lindsey are known for their encouraging and passionate personalities, and they carry that over into all aspects of the studio. They each belong to local churches where they have a strong community surrounding them and many have joined them in the studio.

Cassie and Lindsey are blessed and fortunate to have the support and help of their husbands and families at the studio, truly making it a family organization.

As leaders in the performing arts industry, Cassie and Lindsey are frequent contributors to the local community arts scene and members of The WE/Me Community for Women Entrepreneurs. They've also produced numerous performances at the local Wadsworth Theater and other local venues, including The Little Mermaid, Polar Express, and Seussical.
At SOPA, Cassie and Lindsey continue to serve their performers by not only providing excellent dance and performing arts education, but also offering performance opportunities and experiences incomparable in this area.

Studio Hours
While your child is in class you are welcome to wait in the building or this is a great time for you to run an errand, catch up with a friend in Wadsworth Alley, Heirloom Bakery, or even go for a quick walk around the downtown square! When you arrive for your class please check in at the front on the iPad and help your dancer to get settled before class and find a cubby for their things. Please make sure all shoes and water bottles are labeled.
Parents/Caregivers: Please plan to enter the building no more than 10 minutes prior to the beginning and end of class time when dropping off and picking up your dancer. You are always welcome to use our restroom, drop off snacks/water for your dancer, etc.! Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
If your dancer has multiple classes with a break in between, they are welcome to wait in our lobby area until their next class begins.
